2011/video installation/6 min. loop
Fragmented sections of a bridge are intercut with the uneasy faces of a couple wandering the Ballard Lochs in Seattle.
A disembodied and seemingly innocuous conversation between this man and woman acts as an exploration into the themes of ennui versus action, family versus individual, and how much your environment-both landscapes and people, both tangible and intangible-can affect the choices you make.
The first in a series of film essays about love produced by longtime collaborators Frank Mosley and Lee Luna. Starring Mosley and Jenny Pendel.
Now streaming on Kinoscope and Vimeo. You can experience the looped installation version here.
